John McCain’s website on the number one or two (depending on your poll) issue troubling Americans:
“Families should be in charge of their health care dollars and have more controlover their care. We can improve health and spend less, while promotingcompetition on the cost and quality of care, taking better care of ourcitizens with chronic illness, and promoting prevention that will keepmillions of others from ever developing deadly and debilitating disease.”

I will prefer to opt out of government mandated health care provisions if given the chance. Hillary’s ‘93 plan would have put me and my doctor in jail and fined thousands of dollars. I can take care of myself.

The States are constitutionally endowed with the right to provide for the health, safety, and welfare of their citizens. If they choose to provide socialized care good for them. I like to be in charge of my health and medical decisions without the risk of facing rationing choices determined by a state bureaucrat.
